Bela, some of us decided that we really wanted to run a 10 man group with friends from fireside who weren't in Amaranthian. So we made our own little group to do that. In doing so, we ended up leaving quite a few guildies out, including you, thalois, faalon, rumor, lycannon, etc.
Janet is trying to organize this run because no one likes getting left out, and no one likes leaving other people out (or at least making them feel left out). This is her way of trying to include those of you who aren't running the 10 man group we put together. The sad fact of the matter is that 10 man instances necessitate that some people get left out, unless we start rotating some 17 to 18 people in and out of one group. The achievement system has really only put emphasis on the need for the same 10 (or nearly same) people to do the content over and over again to the point of perfection.
Anyway, Janet's not trying to exclude people here, she's trying to get everyone who wants to participate, involved.

yea...im not sure what the confusion is here...our run is still on...you didnt see the raid a few of us went to tonight organized here because it wasnt an ama run...or will ever be an ama run because it includes people who arent in ama...
so assuming we get enough signups we'll still be heading to naxx this weekend...bram is out tho, but thall certainly has enough def...
The run that happened tonight was not an Amaranthian run. It's a run thrown together by some Fireside people. Bela you weren't personally invited because we already had plenty of healers.
The Amaranthian Naxx run that Janet has planned shouldn't be affected by the Naxx run that happened tonight. The idea is that they'll be mutually exclusive.
Amaranthian is not a raiding guild. No one should expect that they are automatically going to get into raids just because some of your guildmates are there. I often log in to various Amaranthians running various raids with various groups. I've yet to set foot in a 25 man raid because I either log in late or the groups are already formed and I, personally, have no interest in organizing and leading raids. Fireside (and Ama Kara) burnt me out on that. If you see me in a raid it's highly likely that I didn't form it, and I'm not leading it. I'm just there to tank it. And while I often do have some say in who joins the raid I'm usually in a 10 man with limited space. If we have open spots I'm happy to suggest to the rest of the raid that we fill them with Amaranthians, and I usually do that.
I'm sorry if people are feeling left out of things (and believe me you're not the first person to talk to me about this, just the first person to publicly bring it up, Bela) because they see a bunch of guildmates running stuff that they'd like to run. I understand that it's tough. But no one is purposefully leaving anyone else out of heroics, or raids, or anything else. Raiding is so easy that everyone is pugging stuff these days. It's pretty easy to go raid. I've seen all of you raiding at various times and it honestly doesn't seem to me like anyone is hard up for groups.
I apologize if this seems blunt but I want to be honest and truthful here and for everyone to understand what the deal with raiding and our guild is. No one is being left out on purpose but until Amaranthian guildies formally organize raids it's highly likely that people will get left out simply for lack of room, bad timing, or whatever else.
That said, Janet has taken it upon herself (and really, ANY of you could be doing this) to organize an Amaranthian Naxx run. The hope is that everyone will get to run Naxx and people won't feel left out.

Its ok, just a misunderstanding on my part and after the post for a ama naxx that 9 people from ama was running a naxx run it just hit me wrong. Its no big deal really, i was a little emotional about it last night and it might also be due to the cough medicine with codiene i took last night :)
I have been running 10 man and 25 man naxx with other pugs only cuz i knew that many people were just questing, leveling or getting rep and nothing from ama was organized yet. But i turned down 10 man naxx because of the upcoming ama run and then when i saw all the people minus one from ama in naxx, i just went off.
Dont worry about it, I am sorry that i even said something now....I just let my narcotic induced medicine get the best of me last night.
Please forgive my immaturity in QQing over such trivial things...hugs to all!!!
Tilda won't really be able to tank yet. I went with her on some runs, but I had awful luck with plate drops. I'm going to keep trying to make stuff and such.
update - i won't be able to leave work, because i have to watch some shit, but i could raid from work, although my machine here blows for raiding. i'll log on at 7 and see what's up =)
