i really like them. the graphics are the one reason i haven't gotten sick of the environment yet. plus, i don't think that realism would have worked when rendering screaming midgets throwing themselves to the ground with shotgun recoil.

Well, I have yet to get it--so maybe for the multiplayer (on/offline) the xbox would be a good choice *ahem* roomie has teh X-boxing mutation.

What, borderlands? I heard it from Timmy that it's sort of fun, but not really after a while. I've been spending my time playing Empire: Total War, reading books, and trying not to look creepy while hanging out with some of Tim's friends. Oh, and driving taxis and studying for the subject GRE.

What level chars do you have? I've got a level 30-something Siren, need to play more. Though you folks probably play while I am at work <.<

I'm sorta hoping it'll have a sale-weekend before I get it, but it does look to be like it'll be fun. I hope you guys are still playing by then!

i never really considered how much time looting plays into it...honestly i dont think we spend a whole lot looting...we spend more time ccing then anything else...also trying to survive...i guess we just suck too much to be one shotting shit =)

I miss gaming with you guys too! I still haven't had a chance to install and test Borderlands. Kate's 30th birthday was this weekend and it's been hectic the whole time. On the plus side, I got to take her here, which was one of the most impressive and delicious meals of my life.

Looting in Borderlands is so easy, everything falls onto the ground and you can see from a distance if you need the ammo and if so just mash E as you run over it and you pick it up. I don't really see what the problem is. It's way easier than, say, WoW looting, where you have to actually interact with each killed mob in order to loot them.

Well, my gunslinger is 23ish, Janet and I have been playing on and off and trying to get Em involved. I have a 'working copy' loaded onto my website if anyone needs it. Lemme know! >_>

My berserker (Barry) is now lvl 11...and has about the same HP as my lvl 23 gunslinger! Kind of ridiculous.

So Janet, Bram and I played some 3 player Borderlolz last night, it was good times. And that is my story.

The Soldier's comments seem to keep the two entertained with the fresh variety in the game's vernacular. I also got lazy and stabbed a skag for most of its HP to try and earn another melee kill (for achievement-ing) and Chris was befuddled while watching me do so. The Zombie Island expansion is really fun too--especially so with the loot zombie sneaking up on Chris. Pesky zombies!
